Product Description
Bright yellow-ochre Krobo discs and natural blue-green turquoise beads are mixed with etched Thai Hill Tribes silver in this one-of-a-kind "Africa meets the Southwest" fusion necklace. A thick sterling silver chain and toggle clasp complete the design.
The name of this necklace reflects its fusion inspiration: Ghana is where the Krobo beads are handmade from recycled glass, and Gallup is a town in New Mexico well-known for its Navajo and Pueblo artisans. The style is reminiscent of many of the Native American necklaces from the region, with an unexpected African twist!
Length: about 18 1/2" (47 cm).
